Center services include, but are not limited to, health education and health management classes, workshops, and health screenings, as well as information regarding access to care. The Supervisor will be responsible for assisting to establish measurable goals and outcomes for the Center in collaboration with the Community Resource Center Manager. Assist in the outreach of partnerships related to Center events and offerings to increase awareness in the surrounding community. Care management is broadly defined, and can include outreach and engagement to Members, engaging members in skilled therapeutic interactions to promote health behaviors, other behavioral health interventions within scope, coordination of care, resource linkages, working with other professionals and organizations in the community to ensure quality of care for members, seamless transitions of care, and facilitating the right care and the right time for the member. This position works collaboratively with members of the Enhanced Care Management Team (ECM), Members and families, and other professionals, in addition to working collaboratively with the designated health care organization (HCO) medical team. This position, like all positions within IEHP, is expected to model whole health principles of relationship-based care, as well engage in promoting education and understanding of physical health and healthy behaviors to those within IEHP and in the community.

Is able to interpret clinical data for QI-related studies for medical management. This position maintains a working knowledge of the current medical management system (MedHOK), business processes and workflows. Maintains summarized information for Quality Systems related to modified and new regulatory requirements for medical management from DHCS, DMHC and CMS.

This position will also oversee delegate clinical and operational compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance initiatives related to utilization management out-patient activities. This role is responsible for the oversight/generation of all Utilization Management preservice regulatory correspondence including delivery and content. This role will assist the Director, UM Operations with the implementation and revision of policies and standards. This role requires collaboration and communication with various departments that share Utilization Management functions. This role will inspire and influence the team towards cultural transformation of the department through continuous improvement.

Areas of oversight for this position include, but are not limited to, case management, quality management, utilization management (UM), and grievance and appeals and committee participation. The Medical Director of Behavioral Health oversees the inpatient/concurrent review process, care integration efforts, and all levels of behavioral health care provided to IEHP Members. The Medical Director coordinates care with the County Mental Health Plans that are responsible for the care of the population with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI), the County Alcohol and Drug Program, as well as all IEHP community and provider partners.

Effectively communicate the status of assigned projects to Executive Leadership including risks, issues, barriers identified and recommend solutions. 4. Triage complex compliance issues and inquiries from departments and units, understand the underlying intent of the questions and perform necessary research and analysis to provide accurate responses and recommendations. Lead workgroups to ensure adherence with guidance and recommendations. 6. Proactively identify areas of improvement for the Compliance Department and lead the development of performance improvement initiatives. 7. Obtain an understanding of the various systems and data sources utilized by the Plan. Develop tools, templates, and resources to manage projects and identify risks, issues, and barriers. Leads workgroups to ensure compliance and recommended solutions are included in the process and/or operational improvements implemented by the business departments and units. 8. Leads and facilitates compliance program effectiveness through:   a. Proactively identifying policy development and revisions required for the general operation of the Compliance Program and related activities.   b. Develop comprehensive reports to the Governing Board, partnering with peers to ensure all necessary information is communicated to the Governing Board allowing the Board to exercise reasonable oversight of the Compliance Program.   c. Develop Compliance Committee reports which includes ensuring relevant and necessary information is presented to allow the Committee to support and advise the Compliance Program.   d. Develop and collaborate in the Compliance, FWA, and Privacy Training to ensure the staff is knowledgeable of and complies with applicable Federal, State, and industry standards.   e. Develop and lead the Compliance Program Communication Plan and awareness campaigns.   f. Conduct and/or lead complex investigations concerning compliance issues.   g.
