The Developer II - Adobe Experience Manager, Cloud is responsible for providing end-to-end support for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Marketo platforms. This role combines AEM content management with Marketo campaign and asset support, ensuring platform stability, seamless integration, and smooth execution of marketing initiatives. The Developer II - Adobe Experience Manager, Cloud will partner with IT and marketing teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and enable efficient content and campaign delivery. The incumbent collaborates with development teams and internal stakeholders, as well as, creates documentation and manages security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide L1/L2/L3 support for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Marketo applications, including incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution. Provide day-to-day support of the Enterprise Digital Content Management product offering with special focus on the Adobe Cloud suite of products.
  2. Support content authors in managing content fragments, experience fragments, editable templates, workflows, and publishing. 
  3. Support DAM (Digital Asset Management) usage, including metadata, renditions, and asset publishing.
  4. Lead Template and Component development.
  5. Monitor AEM environments (Author, Publish, Dispatcher) for performance and stability.
  6. Troubleshoot replication issues, workflows, and user/group permissions.
  7. Support Marketo campaigns, programs, and assets (i.e., emails, landing pages, forms, templates) improving customer engagement and automating marketing processes.
  8. Work with marketing teams to ensure smooth integration between AEM and Marketo.
  9. Troubleshoot issues with form submissions, campaign assets, and lead data sync. Monitor sync health between AEM, Marketo, and data platforms.
  10. Assist in campaign setup, personalization workflows, and lead capture optimization.
  11. Provide guidance, training, and documentation for marketing teams on Marketo–AEM usage.
  12. Build guardrails and security controls that meet Healthcare regulatory requirements. Maintain audit logs and evidence for campaigns, data changes, and content publishes; support audits and risk assessments.
  13. Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.

Qualifications

Education & Requirement

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field from an accredited institution
  • Five plus (5+) years of experience of experience developing and maintaining computer applications, with two plus (2+) years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Marketo
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines (DevOps) and Adobe Marketing Cloud products (AEM, Marketo)
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM):
    • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or higher)
    • Experience with fully integrated, headless, and hybrid AEM implementations
    • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting:
      • Content Fragments & Experience Fragments
      • Templates and Editable Templates
      • Workflows and publishing processes
      • DAM operations (metadata, renditions, asset processing)
  • Marketo:
    • Campaign and program setup
    • Asset management (emails, landing pages, forms, templates)
    • AEM–Marketo integration and troubleshooting
    • Previously lead management and personalization workflows

Preferred: 

  • Experience in full cycle adobe cloud platform infrastructure implementations
  • Experience in adobe cloud application implementation (AEM component development, Asset workflow development) preferred. Experience integrating Adobe cloud products with other enterprise solutions
  • Exposure to DevOps tools 
  • Relevant Adobe certifications

Key Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of:
    • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for creating and delivering digital content
    • AEM architecture (Author, Publish, Dispatcher, OSGi, Sling, JCR/CRX)
    • Dispatcher configuration, caching, and CDN integration
    • Adobe Marketo for streamlining marketing campaigns and customer engagement
    • Agile or DevOps methodologies
    • Application servers (Apache, Tomcat), Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
    • Applicable data privacy practices and laws
  • Log analysis skills (Splunk, Kibana, or command-line)
  • Web development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with both technical teams and marketing stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to present to and communicate with different stakeholders
  • Ability to work well both individually and in a group

Work Model Location

This position is on a hybrid work schedule. (Monday & Friday - remote, Tuesday – Thursday onsite in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.)

Schedule may adjust based on business need which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends

Pay Range

USD $104,041.60 - USD $137,841.60 /Yr.
