The Analyst I - Facilities position, under close supervision, incumbents perform the more standard support and analysis duties while learning IEHP business operation policies and procedures and specific techniques related to analysis. Will work standard reports, ad-hoc requests, studies, analyses.  With experience assignments become more diversified and are performed under more general supervision.

This is a short-term role with a duration of up to 6 months. Please note that this position is not eligible for benefits.

While there is a possibility that this role could lead to a permanent position, permanent employment is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs, performance, and other factors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with department Team Members to coordinate, compile and monitor assigned projects and reports to ensure reporting is complete and submitted timely.
  2. Responsible for analyzing report requests to determine users’ needs and objectives, identify the correct criteria to meet reporting request and ensure the delivered report is accurate, timely, and formatted appropriately.
  3. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of the various data sources utilized by the department for regulatory reporting, as well as a clear understanding of IEHP business operations to be able to appropriately apply criteria and methodology to meet requestors’ reporting needs.
  4. Significant participation in analysis, interpretation, and translating of complex data, issues, trends, and relationships into effective strategies and action plans.
  5. Responsible for troubleshooting reporting issues as well as incorrect data results. Provide Business support to database users and work as a liaison between database users and the IT department as needed.
  6. Responsible for managing assigned projects and effectively communicating with teams if any project deadlines will not be met well in advance of the project due date.
  7. Document all reporting projects and reports within a project consistently, following department protocols, ensure updates to department processes and standard reporting documentation is completed as updates occur.
  8. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others throughout the organization as well as with the Medicare delegates.

Qualifications

Education & Requirements 

  • Two (2) or more years of experience in report writing and analysis, including extensive use and understanding of MS Access, Excel, Visio, Word, and Power Point.
  • Experience in the healthcare field is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Health, Business, or related field from an accredited institution required.
    • In lieu of the required degree, a minimum of four (4) years of direct experience in Facilities position supporting business process and applications is required for this position
    • This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Data analysis, word processing, spreadsheet, and some database capabilities
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Power Point, Word and Excel is essential
  • Communicate clearly and effectively both in speaking and in writing
  • Excellent data input, strong problem-solving capability, and interpersonal / communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects. Excellent data collection and systemization abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
