Digital Content Designer

The Digital Content Designer will apply a data-driven approach to create digital assets from IEHP marketing campaigns for use in media buys and on IEHP websites. The Digital Content Designer will collaborate closely with the design team to ensure proper brand adherence and execution, suggest usage of typography, iconography, and colors based on best practices for digital. The Digital Content Designer will support the design team with traditional media and creating digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. With guidance from Marketing Leadership, will leverage user analytics to create targeted digital assets based on marketing ad campaigns. 
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, writers, and specialists to create digital assets that are on brand.
3. Design and create visually compelling motion graphics and animations supporting the video team. 
4. With direction from Marketing Leadership, take ownership of motion design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables within defined timelines.
5. Develop and refine motion graphics utilizing industry-leading tools and software.
6. Research, explore and implement new design trends, and technologies in digital marketing and provide results to marketing and digital teams.
7. Participate in developing and maintaining the company's motion design standards and best practices.
8. Collaborate on digital animations with product development and marketing teams to integrate into emails and marketing ads. 
9. Foster a data-driven culture, utilizing consumer insights to de-risk the decision-making process on when and how to use digital animations on our media platforms.
10. Develop digital animations and videos for use on social platforms to ensure alignment with business KPIs and objectives.
11. Develop and maintain an asset library that’s easily accessible for cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
12. Perform other duties as required to ensure Health Plan and Marketing Department operations are successful.

Education & Experience

• Less than one (1) year of experience in planning, conducting, and sharing consumer research both quantitatively and qualitatively using standard tools such as design thinking, Qualtrics, prototyping, in-depth interviews and surveys Experience creating Journey Maps and data-driven personas
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, motion design or related field, or equivalent practical experience from an accredited institution required

Key Qualifications

• Proficiency in industry-standard motion and graphic software such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
